Another ink and quill illustration completed recently. Every person I've showed it to agreed with me that it kinda looks like the work of that guy, y'a know, japanese, stuff, thingy. And nobody can remember the name either. But no, if inspiration there is, it could only be unconscious. But I don't think there is a link anyway, it's not my thing.

My inspirations seemed to be drawn directly from my good fellow François's usual trademark — relaying causes. To be frank the trash was thrown there as a contrast, I mostly wanted to draw that pearl in that manner. However a bit of the “real me” is showing in this pic because I am a very bitter individual when it comes to human occupation. That specie doesn't make enough efforts to preserve the land they live in, which is against the survival instinct, and thus, utterly absurd in my rational, unemotional eyes. The planet is only considered through its use for humans, for life in general in the best of case. Places have to be places to live, they are denied a lifeless existence. But still as a human I don't get how the need for beauty (non-humans things to be interested in) is so underated in comparison to the right to prolifere. Anyway. I can't escape these thoughts any time I take a walk on the seaside since it's plagged with plastic everyfuckingwhere.
